Tips for having a safe and fun Halloween
Halloween is less than a week away. This time of the year is a fun time for both kids and parents, but it is also a time that requires extra caution. Here at the farm, we were looking for some Halloween safety tips, and thought we would share a few. We came across these tips on About.com, here are a few:
- Have your child carry or wear something lit, such as a flashlight, glow bracelet or necklace.
- Adult should plan out the route in advance, this way there are no surprise obstacles during Trick or Treating.
- Your Trick or Treaters should walk, not run.
- Only Trick or Treat at houses that are lit.
